Nine o’clock Advent breakfast was provided by Geraldine, Josephine and Ted, after a service in the heated box pews led by Keith.  The Flower Guild decorated church and Hanbury WI used the striking decorations which they made for the tree.

We thank the Gartland family for providing the tree and Hanbury Hall for the loan of lighting for the carol service.‘Hanbury In Voice’ sang to a bumper attendance; it was heartening to have so many villagers and ‘friends of’ the church under one roof.

Hanbury School children sang exceptionally well at their service and recounted the events surrounding Christ’s birth.
